SOUL and swing combine at a gig on Saturday, February 18 to raise money for Beechcliffe Special School.
The Sultans Of Swing will share the stage with The Soulfingers from 8pm at the Keighley Rugby Union Football Club in Utley.
Julian Maxfield, from the Friends At Braithwaite (FAB) fundraising group, said the Swing & Soul night was in its second year.
He said: “Sultans Of Swing are bringing the big band sounds of Glenn Miller, Count Basie and Duke Ellington featuring the cool crooning voice of Ian Stewart, then The Soulfingers will bring the evening to a floor-filling climax with songs like Brown Eyed Girl, Midnight Hour and Dancing In The Street.”
There will be a raffle and auction. Tickets cost £5, and proceeds will help fund a sensory garden at Beechcliffe Special School.
Email Julian at maxtwr@aol.com or call him on 07720 389480 to book tickets, or call at the school reception.
