KEIGHLEY Film Club is promising a science fiction film to make viewers think.
Arrival follows a linguistics professor’s attempts to interpret the language of alien visitors after 12 spacecraft appear around the world.
Amy Adams plays the professor while Forest Whitaker plays the American military commander who wants to shoot down the aliens.
A film club spokesman said: “As well as an exciting SF story, the film could also be seen as gender politics playing with the future of the world.”
The screening, which is open to everyone, is that the Picture House, North Street, on Sunday, March 19 at 5.35pm.
