BOBBIE Dazzler is staging a burlesque night in Keighley to celebrate April Fools.

Bobbie, from Keighley, said the latest show on April 8 at 8pm in Pilky’s Bar on Heber Street would challenge people's ideas of what burlesque was.

She said: “I really believe we have brought some of the best performers in the country to Keighley.

“Our compere Diane Onstage has built up a huge following of her own and she will be introducing our acts and keeping things moving with her razor sharp wit!”

Bobbie will present a routine she performed at the Edinburgh Festival and on the BBC2 programme Our Dancing Town.

The headliner is Kiki Lovechild, a visual artist who packed out all his performances at last year’s Edinburgh Festival.

There will also be local group Siren and Strings, drag king Carmen Mi Amore, method actor and comedian Mrs No Overall, and Seedy Frills.

Tickets cost £12.50 in advance from Sequins fancy dress shop, High Street, or by emailing bobbiedazzler@yahoo.co.uk. Tickets cost £15 on the door.
