GRAEME Of Thrones is coming to the King’s Hall in Ilkley “before the inevitable lawsuit”.

The spoof on TV fantasy saga Game Of Thrones, to be presented on June 5, has been created by a team of top UK comedy writers.

In this critically-acclaimed theatrical journey through the Seven Kingdoms, avid Thrones fan Graeme just wants to recreate his favourite fantasy saga on stage.

He doesn’t quite have the same budget as the TV show, or as many cast members, or the performance skills required, but he’s sure author George RR Martin would approve – and that’s what matters.

Then news reaches him an influential theatrical producer is in the building and Graeme decides this could be his big break – as long as nothing goes wrong.

Having started life in London’s West End, the show has since been seen around the world, with sold-out performances in Australia, Canada and the USA.

The production takes on a world tour this year giving Westeros fans everywhere the chance to see why Time Out described it as “a must for any Game Of Thrones fan”.

The show allegedly caused a woman in Norwich to vomit into her purse, and it was banned from Malaysia.

A spokesman said: “This original and unauthorised parody on the international phenomenon that is Game Of Thrones is a treat for fans and an introduction for the unenlightened. The show is suitable for ages 16-plus.”

Comedian Russell Kane is the Right Man, Wrong Age, as he performs stand-up at King’s Hall on May 25.

He says no one is ever the right age, it’s simply the beauty and the curse of being a real person.

And Joe Longthorne performs with his band at King’s Hall on June 1, with songs and impressions of Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
