DANNI Nicholls has been announced as the support act for Shakin’ Stevens when he plays Leeds and York.
The critically-acclaimed Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist will be performing at most of the 33 dates of the beloved rock ‘n’ roller’s biggest-ever UK tour.
Danni is proudly English, but with a certain mystique informed by her Indian heritage.
She was raised on country and rock ‘n’ roll, and is the creator of original, personal songs that are said to deserve their own category of ‘Anglo-Americana’.
Danni said: “Being invited to support Shaky, having also just launched a new live album, is incredibly exciting.”
Performing since a young age, Danni has achieved claim for her passionate delivery and captivating velvet voice.
