KEIGHLEY Playhouse ends its 2016/17 season of plays with the Mike Harding comedy Fur Coat And No Knickers.
The comedy folk singer’s play, which runs from June 12 to 17, around two Northern families whose parents have grown up together.
While one family has gone up in the world the other remained on the same street, and trouble begins when the daughter of one family and the son of the other decide to marry.
And explores the stag party features drunken Irish priest, a revolutionary layabout and a grandad who can drink everyone under the table.
The Playhouse, based in Devonshire Street, promises a fast-paced and hilarious night for its audience as the mothers of the bride and groom do battle with handbags.
Director David Hardman said: “The play is full of down to earth humour from back in the days when political correctness hadn’t been invented.”
