WONDER Woman, Spiderman, Darth Vader and Harley Quinn are coming to Keighley this month to entertain families.

They’ll be at the annual Super Cars and Super Heroes event on Saturday, September 16 at Beechcliffe Special School in Utley.

Organisers promise this third event will be bigger and better than the first two with a host of new characters and vehicles at the school on Greenhead Road.

Parent governor Julian Maxfield said: “There will be more cars from the Corvette Club, North Yorkshire Lotus Owners Club and Twisted Torque, and from the movies we have Herbie and lightning McQueen.

“There will be many more characters from the Star Wars universe courtesy of Sentinel Squad UK, who will be joined by Wonder Woman, Bumble Bee, Harley Quinn and Spiderman all making friends for the day.”

Proceeds will go to Beechcliffe Special School to help develop a multi-sensory garden for the students. The previous two events together raised more than £2,700.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm. Admission is £2 for adults, £1 for under-12s and £5 for two adults and two under-12’s.

There will be stalls, face painting, ice cream, a raffle and draw, and visits by the Police and Fire Service.
