The ever-popular Elevators return to Keighley Blues Club yet again to headline this Friday.

The five-piece band hope to beat their record of four encores during a previous visit.

They are described as "skinny white English bluers steeped in the darkest hues of BB King, Buddy Guy and Robert Cray".

The spokesman adds: "Their music is played with affection and accuracy that few can emulate.

"If you remember with love and affection the British blues boom of the 60s you must not miss this band."

There will be classics such as All Your Love, It Hurts Me Too, Hard Road, The Very Thing That Makes You Rich, and Love That Burns.

Support comes from Sam Payne who is no stranger to Keighley following regular gigs at the Cricketers.

She is described as a singer/songwriter and a fine exponent of blues/boogie piano playing.

She has played on stage with Buddy Guy, held a residency residency at Ronnie Scott's, and sessioned on Paul Jones's Radio 2 blues show.

Expect to hear songs by Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles as well as her own material.

The gig is at Cougar Park's Hall of Fame. Tickets cost £10. Contact 01535 600310 or keighleybluesclub.net.
