Community workers in Keighley are being urged to ignite their creativity on a new course.
Volunteers and workers will learn how to use a variety of artistic styles in their projects with local communities.
They will try their hand at rap, graffiti, drama and writing during the "Ignite" course run by Bradford organisation Artworks.
The course has run successfully in Bradford for three years, teaching people inspiring ways of engaging local people.
Artworks project director Annie Barrington said Ignite was unique in that the students themselves tried a whole range of art forms.
She said: "They will learn tips and techniques that they will be able to use in their own work."
Students will also learn about working with young people, older people and the disabled, as well as consulting to consultation, evaluation, project management and fundraising.
Annie said: "Ignite is one of our most successful programmes and we're delighted to be bringing it to Keighley.
"As a local resident I know how much creative talent there is here - two of the artists who run the course are from the Worth Valley.
"I hope that people will take up this opportunity to meet with other like-minded workers and volunteers and be inspired.
"They will come away with more than just new skills, but also ideas and motivation to put them into practice in their own life."
The course runs at Park Lane College Keighley from May 9, on Thursdays and Fridays until May 23. Contact Estelle or Jessica at Artworks on 01274 256919, or e-mail info@artworksbradford.org.uk.
