Fairy good music hall on Friday
The good old days are recalled tomorrow during a music hall performance in Sutton Village Hall.
Singers from around South Craven are uniting for the nostalgic event, beginning at 7.15pm
The show has been organised by Maureen Green, one of the performers, for the village hall committee.
Entertainers include Sutton Amateurs leading light Doreen Smith and her performing partner Hilda Harrison.
Compering the concert will be Philip Smith, who regularly plays the dame in the Amateurs' pantomimes.
Also taking part are William Fisher, Elizabeth Hadfield and Maura Fisher-Peake.
The entertainment includes monologues, nostalgic songs and humorous ditties like Nobody Loves a Fairy When She's 40.
The audience is being encouraged to dress up and sing along.
The music hall begins at 7.15pm, and there is a bar. Proceeds will go to the hall restoration fund.
Tickets cost £6 (£4 for children) from 01535 635269
