Bluebirds over Haworth?

There'll be bluebirds over West Lane in Haworth this Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm.

That's when the Baptist Church's amateur operatic group perform their Home Front Revue as part of the village's 1940s weekend.

The miscellany of items will include well-known 1940 songs like the Siegfried Line, Bless 'Em All and Chattanooga Choo Choo.

There will be period sketches by the Bairstow and Upton families plus monologues and solos by other members.

Tickets cost £7 adults, and £4 for children. Phone 01535 643425.
