Anya dances in Sleeping Beauty
A Harden teenager will perform alongside professional ballet dancers in a production of Sleeping Beauty.
Anya Sale, 13, will appear with English Youth Ballet at York's Grand Theatre as part of a national tour.
She is one of 100 dancers chosen for the June 6-7 production following "very competitive" auditions in February.
Anya will rehearse over 10 days, six hours a day, with tutors including principal dancers from the ballet company.
Anya is a student of Parkside School in Cullingworth and trains at Keighley's Sara Packham School of Dance.
She performed in Northern Ballet Theatre's tour of The Nutcracker over the Christmas period.
She was chosen during her fourth year on the NBT's intensive training programme.
Anya is pictured with professional dancer Emma Lister, who will be training her for Sleeping Beauty.
Tickets for 2.30pm and 7.30pm performances of Sleeping Beauty can be booked on 0844 847 2322.
