This 90-minute musical adventure entitled Thomas Saves the Day invites children of pre-school age and their families to enter the fanciful world of Thomas the Tank Engine.
There are live actors and the very impressive and realistic engines themselves, which drive around the stage and come to life with moving eyes and mouths, although for this performance Thomass mouth didnt seem to be working.
When a big storm threatens to ruin the annual Magic Lantern Festival there is only one plucky little engine that can save the day and that's Thomas with a little help from his best friend Percy and their drivers.
This show is all about the children and I got the most out of seeing my three-year-old nephew Oliver's face when the trains were on stage.
Seeing him waving to them as if they were real and hearing him sing along to the songs made the whole thing worthwhile.
