White Light Parade play Leeds Cockpit this Friday to promote their debut album House of Commons.
The Bradford band releases the second single from the album, We Start Fires, on Monday.
The album is said to encompass the snarling three-chord anger of the Sex Pistols, the anthemic choruses of Oasis and the vintage melodies of the Kinks.
"White Light Parade form their urban disillusionment into perfectly crafted catchy rock tunes," says the publicity blurb.
The band released the first single from the album, Wake Up, in May but had already released at least two previous songs.
Debut single Wait For The Weekend was on the XFM playlist and give them support slots with The View and The Enemy.
Follow-up Turning All The Lights Down reached the indie Top 10 following plays from Radio 1's Huw Stephens.
Rockstar Games signed the track's rowdy, Clash-tinged B-side Riot In The City for the soundtrack to the hit videogame Grand Theft Auto IV.
