States of Emotion provide noisy guitars, big choruses and lovely melodies at the Elbow Rooms, Leeds, on February 5. Chuck Ragan, frontman of US punk rock band Hot Water Music, performs at Leeds Academy on March 18, blending the sales of Frank Turner, Tom Gabel and Steve Earle into a gritty folk-punk sound.
