The spicy sound of the Louisiana swamps will bring variety to Keighley Blues Club this month.
The popular club has taken a financial risk by booking The Cajun Roosters on Friday February 12.
The Roosters are regarded as the top band of their genre outside the music's US homeland.
A club spokesman said the group was a departure from the club's usual fare.
He said: "It's a big risk as they were booked at great expense for a small club like ours, before the recession really bit."
The club said the "supergroup" -- with members from Germany, Holland and England -- played music of the swamps and prairies north west of New Orleans.
He said: "It instantly grabs an audience and infuses them with a feeling of bonhomie and good times.
"Every gig is a celebration of the richness of a Louisiana musical culture that all the members of this band love and understand."
Tickets cost £12 from bldvchg@aol.com or 01535 600310.
