A Groovy Happening is planned every month at the Parkside Social Club in Butt Lane, Haworth.
The music event organised by local volunteers will raise money for Manorlands.
The premiere on February 4 will feature the Liam Newton Psychonaut Experience and acoustic folk rock band Foxes Faux.
Singer-songwriter Jularah, one of the organisers, said: "We want to give an opportunity to up and coming, inexperienced performers to play, even if they just want to do a couple of songs the.
"As this is a charity venture we can't pay musicians but they will get a free drink, food and hopefully something towards expenses."
Organisers are also looking for a guest compere, such as a stand-up comedian, and volunteers to help run the event.
A Groovy Happening is on February 4, March 24, April 7, May 5 and June 5. Admission is £2. Contact jularah@hotmail.co.uk or 07796 078857.
