Local families can set out with the world’s first family in a movie at Glusburn Institute this month. Hit animated comedy adventure The Croods is the latest film to be screened at the community venue.
The Croods are a prehistoric family forced to flee the cave that has shielded them from danger all their lives. Travelling across a spectacular landscape, they discover a new world filled with fantastic creatures. For patriarch Grug, the situation goes from bad to worse when the family encounter an imaginative nomad named Guy. The film features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman and Emma Stone.
The Croods will be screened on April 25 at 3pm. Doors open at 2pm. Tickets cost £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children, available from Cross Hills Post Office and Glusburn Institute before the day, or on the door.
