Tracy Beaker star Dani Harmer will play Wendy in a pantomime production of Peter Pan flying to Halifax.

She will appear alongside comedy legend Bobby Davro as Smee at the Victoria Theatre on April 24 and 25.

During the four performances Peter Pan will be played by Lloyd Warbey, star of Disney’s Art Attack.

Producer Jezz Weatherall said: “This fantastic show has a great cast of TV stars and an amazing live band.

“We know how popular The Wizard Of Oz was previously at the Victoria Theatre and we’re going to give audiences another quality family event this year.”

Writer Guy Pascall said: “Peter Pan is the most magical pantomime of them all, with wonderful characters such as Tinker Bell, Nana the dog, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, Pirates and Indians.

“There will be wonderful sets, brilliant costumes, high-octane dance routines and plenty of popular songs to please all ages.”

Also at the Victoria Theatre will be children’s show Peppa Pig’s Big Splash, with morning and afternoon performances on April 26 and 27. Peppa and her friends promise an all-singing, all-dancing adventure.
