The former First Lady of Folk will headline the monthly fortnight at the Wuthering Heights on May 25.
English folk icon Miriam Backhouse is no stranger to Bronteland after playing in Haworth in recent years.
She came to fame during the 1960s and 1970s as part of the UK’s folk revival, and has since lived in South Africa.
Now known as Miriam Erasmus, she is a multi-instrumentalist with a fine voice, who has been compared to Joan Baez and Maddy Prior.
The Wuthering Heights, in Stanbury, lays on a folk headliner every month following an open mic session.
