Great songwriting and fluid lyrics are promised by Martin Plock in Haworth on Saturday.
Martin opens up the monthly blues and roots night organised by Ben ‘Blue’ Waters at the Old Sun Hotel.
Ben said Martin’s music had an accessibility broadening his appeal beyond the blues genre’s usual catchment, while retaining the authenticity that would satisfy a purist.
Headliners on Saturday are Gerry Cooper and Phil Snell, who mix blues and rags with their own songs.
