A HOST of leading Keighley bands will perform at this year’s Woodfest.

Rock Bottom Risers, My Forever and You Had Me At Hello are among the headline bands during two days of music.

At least 19 bands will perform tomorrow and Saturday in aid of Manorlands at a farm above Cross Roads.

Woodfest is held every year at Highcliffe Farm on Lees Moor with music, a beer tent, stalls and camping.

The main sponsor of the event is MPRO, which has provided raffle prizes of an Ipad 4 and a House of Marley Bag of Riddim.

The planned Friday-line-up, beginning at 6pm, includes Indigo Sky, Benson, Artisfiction, Indianic, The Kicks and Foxes Faux.

Saturday afternoon will see a Battle of the Bands including Monsters As Humans, Your Illuminations and RizzY.

The Saturday evening line-up, beginning at 5pm, includes Atria, MESA, Box Jellys, Declan Vink, N.O.W.T. and Bad Asteroids.

My Forever, one of the Friday night headliners, are a three piece rock/pop trio which formed in 2012.

The guys say they have since achieved huge success appearing on TV and radio, at well known festivals, and during two UK tours.

Rock Bottom Risers, who also play late on Friday night, are four-piece indie rock band renowned for their live shows.

Pictures of many sell-out gigs across Yorkshire, they won the Battle of the Bands at Woodfest a couple of years ago and have continued to improve.

N.O.W.T, who play at around 9.25pm on Saturday, are a four piece band from Barnoldswick in Lancashire.

They play a variety of rock music such as punk rock and rap rock, and have a strong following.

You Had Me At Hello who will follow N.O.W.T, I are from Keighley and play pop punk with a bit of rock thrown in.

They released their debut album in 2011 and have been touring and gigging ever since.

Indianic were formed in early 2011 by several members from the long-established Keighley indie band The Undecided, along with the frontman from Dead Rockers Society.

The members are inspired by bands such as The Beatles, Ruling Stones, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Oasis and Kasabian.

Indianic’s musical sound is described as post punk delivered with a force of high-energy by frontman Mark “Admiral Dread” Hall.

Advance tickets can be bought at discount prices from Sue Ryder shops in Keighley and Haworth, and several local pubs. Visit woodfest.org.uk for further information.
