WEST MORTON actor Bradley Judge has joined the cast of a professional version of musical Sister Act.

He is playing around 10 characters during the summer run of the West End hit at Aberystwyth.

Sister Act marks Bradley’s professional debut as an adult, after recently completing a degree first class honours degree in Music Theatre

Bradley is the son of Laura Judge, a well-known actress with groups across Yorkshire, including Keighley Amateurs and Keighley Playhouse.

Bradley, who previously trained with Northern Ballet, was spotted by Sister Act producers while still at university and invited to audition in London.

He has joined a 22-strong cast, including Broadway star Lori Hayley Fox, in the comedy about a disco diva forced to hide out in a convent after witnessing the murder.

Bradley plays characters including a taxi driver, a policeman, an altar boy, a drag queen and a nun, as well as being a featured dancer in several musical numbers.

Bradley said: “It’s been a long hard rehearsal process, but really great!

“Now the run has started and the show is almost sold out this is where the hard work starts paying off.

“I feel so lucky to be spending my summer in such a fantastic show in such a beautiful seaside town.”

Bradley has been appearing on stage since he was four, performing with his mother in musicals, pantomimes and plays, and at Keighley Playhouse where his love of the theatre began.

After Sister Act, Bradley plans to move to London to begin an MA in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting.
