A SELECTION of great comedians will be available to work your funny bone at Leeds City Varieties from this autumn onwards.

On October 2 the world-famous venue will host Doc Brown's show, The Weird Way Round.

Fresh from his sell-out UK tour Of Mic And Men and a starring role in the hit show Law and Order, Doc Brown is back with his unique take on life, love and lyricism. His other TV appearances include Russell Howard's Good News, The Inbetweeners, Rev and Derek.

On Sunday October 19 Lee Hurst is back in Leeds to ask audiences what winds them up. Mostly people get on with living their lives, but everyone has at least one thing that gets on their nerves and makes their blood boil.

Lee, like all Brits, loves a right good moan, but he also likes to come up with solutions too. He has starred on BBC1's Have I Got News for You and They Think It's All Over, as well as being a regular guest on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff.

The laughs are set to continue into next year, with Simon Amstell performing his show, To be free, on February 11 2015.

Following sold out residencies in New York and London, Simon is embarking on his fourth international stand up tour.

With intense vulnerability and troubling honesty, Amstell explores freedom, joy, love, death, adventure, art, peace, sex, regret, success, forgiving and just about anything else he can turn his wit to.
