PROLIFIC Keighley born writer John Waddington Feather is turning his talents to the supernatural.

Ghost stories are one of the few genres that the retired clergyman has not tried during his long writing career.

John, who now lives in Shropshire,? Revealed his his regular email newsletter to fans around the world.

He said: “I’m trying my hand at a ghost story this time which I hope isn’t too gory.

“JB Priestley once advised me to spread what literary skills I had over several genres; hence my writing novels, drama, poetry, and short stories.”

John is steadily publishing his back catalogue – which include Keighley-set murder mysteries – electronically for the Kindle e-reader.

He said: “My sales of e-books on Kindle have now topped 50,000 – not the millions which best-selling paperbacks make, but a start!

“I shall be placing another Blake crime novel on Kindle next month.”
