THE DUNWELLS, who recently wowed their audience at Keighley’s Octagon, or on tour this month.

The Leeds based four-piece can be seen at venues in Leeds, York, Halifax, Sheffield and Manchester.

The band is made up of brothers Joseph and David Dunwell and cousins Robert Clayton and Jonny Lamb.

They were drawn together by their shared love of bands like Bon Iver, Elbow and Damien Rice and they’ve been making music together since they first met in school. With one album under their belt and several rounds of successful touring in the US and UK, The Dunwells recently wrote an all new set of songs, mostly during late nights in hotel rooms.

The band teamed up with producer Steve Harris, who has worked with Kodaline and Kaiser Chiefs.

Joe said: “we wanted to get away from the Americana sound we had been labeled with, stripping back the acoustic guitars, going deeper.”

The “incredibly emotional” set of songs, with heartfelt lyrics and four part harmonies to melt the hardest of hearts, will be released on Monday on the EP Show Me Emotion.
