THRILLS, chills and laughs are all in abundance during the new season at Bingley Little Theatre.

Members, who include familiar faces at Keighley Playhouse, will stage eight plays over the next 11 months.

They include a quartet of comedies by popular writers including the recent West End hit The Ladykillers.

The Little Theatre is commemorating the First World War with a production of the drama Journey’s End from April 13 to 19.

The “powerful, shocking and memorable” war play charts the tension and claustrophobia in the trenches during four days leading to attack.

The season begins with riotous farce Cash On Delivery, which runs from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm.

This will be followed by The Spirit Of Annie Ross, a comedy-thriller from October 20 to 25, and Agatha Christie’s whodunnit A Murder Is Announced from December 8 to 13.

Inspector Drake’s Last Case will ring in the New Year with laughter as audiences watch the hilarious slapstick whodunnit from January 19 to 24.

The Thrill of Love, described as a powerful and engaging drama, tells the true story of Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged for murder in Britain, from March 2 to 7.

A humorous, clever and engaging play from Alan Ayckbourn, If I Were You, sees a husband and wife wake up in each other’s bodies, from May 25 to 30.

Black comedy The Ladykillers, presented last week by Keighley Playhouse, will run from July 6 to 11.

All plays are at Bingley Arts Centre. Visit ticketsource.co.uk or call 01274 567983 to book tickets.
