A TRIO of tribute performances will be hosted this autumn by Colne Municipal Theatre.

First up Is the Bon Jovi Experience which aims to recreate the music of the greatest stadium band of all time.

The show, on October 24, features lead singer Tony Pearce who emulates the band’s legendary namesake “with ease and panache”.

The original band sold 120 million albums worldwide and won the band a place in the UK Music Hall of Fame.

This show will include hits like Livin’ On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name, Keep The Faith and Bed Of Roses.

The Music Of John Denver, on November 21, is billed as not a tribute show, but a musical experience featuring the country singer’s music.

A spokesman said: “With great integrity and attention to detail, Chris Bannister will entertain with some of the best songs ever written and performed.”

One Night of Queen, in Colne on November 28, is the popular tribute show featuring Gary Mullen as Freddie Mercury.
