CHILDREN’S show Milkshake! is back at St George’s Hall with more fun from the TV strand of the same name.

Milkshake is the collective name for the early-morning shows on Channel 5 aimed at young children.

The stage version – a musical extravaganza featuring a host of well-known characters – is a firm favourite with Bradford audiences.

The latest production is billed as a perfect family treat featuring a stellar line-up including Little

Princess, Bananas in Pyjamas, Noddy and Tessie Bear.

There will also be Milkshake’s very own Milkshake Monkey, as well as Milkshake presenters Derek and Olivia.

The show, entitled Milkshake! Party Party Live, will be at St George’s Hall, Bradford, today at 1.30pm.

The show aims to get audiences up on their feet and jumping along with delight.

As the preparations for Milkshake Monkey’s birthday get underway, all the guests are busy with their very special party jobs – but when the monkey disappears they are all going to need the audience’s help to find him in time for the party.

The show features new songs, classic favourites and funky dance routines, along with plenty of laughter, bags of audience interaction and bucket loads of fun.

Coming up at St George’s Hall is another TV show, Octonauts, with performances on both November 19 and 20 at 1pm and 4pm.

The show is entitled The Deep See Volcano Adventure and follows the Octonauts as they dive into action to tackle trouble under the sea.

Underwater superheroes Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso will present an action-packed, interactive show featuring music and favourite characters.

Bradford Festival Choral Society will present a traditional family Christmas concert on December 20 at 3pm, with Rothwell Temperance Band and the Bradford Catholic Youth Choir.

Over at Bradford Alhambra, families will be entertained by this year’s pantomime Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

The show as usual stars comedian Billy Pearce, this year playing Muddles, and he will be joined by popular singer Joe McElderry as the Spirit Of The Mirror.
