CAPERCAILLIE is the next band playing the regular Saltaire Live at the town’s Victoria Hall.
The Scottish band celebrated their 30th anniversary last year and this will be the first time they have played Saltaire.
They are one of the biggest names to emerge from traditional roots music, and one of the few whose albums and singles have troubled the Top 40.
Capercaillie are said to combine modern flavours from contemporary music with Celtic folk, fronted by the much-loved vocals of Karen Matheson.
Saltaire Live hosts fellow Bella Hardy and The Midnight Watch on December 16.
