MOZART’S The Marriage Of Figaro will form part of Opera North’s winter season starting in January.
The production, which will be staged at Leeds Grand Theatre, will be directed by Jo Davies, who returns to the company following previous productions of Ruddigore and Carousel.
Christopher Alden also revives his intense take on Manuel da Falla’s La Vida Breve, in a double bill with a new production of Gianni Schicchi.
La Traviata continues after a successful run of Alessandra Talevi’s’ Belle Epoque production in autumn 2014.
Opera North’s winter season will open in Leeds in January and February, before going on tour to Newcastle, Salford and Nottingham.
