A FOLK singer known for his quirky humour will perform on January 23 at the Baccapipes Folk Club.
Chris Manners’s performance at the Keighley club is likely to involve both traditional songs and his own material featuring lyrical humour.
Chris first got into folk music when listening to folk legend Martin Carthy on John Peel’s BBC Radio 2 show.
He cut his performing teeth in Barnsley and became a resident performer at several clubs across the North West.
In more recent times he has become a regular at the well-known Ryburn Folk Club in West Yorkshire.
