JUST OVER 40 years in the business and singer-songwriter Steve Tilston is still in fine form.
The former Keighley man, now a Hebden Bridge resident, is the headliner at Lothersdale Live on March 21.
Steve recently released the album Happenstance, following the release of The Reckoning which was hailed Best Original Song in the BBC Folk Awards 2012.
There have also been appearances on Later With Jools Holland and BBC Four’s Songwriters’ Circle.
Steve is best-known for his songwriting prowess, along with dazzling guitar playing in a style echoing the elaborate rhythmic 'folk baroque' of Bert Jansch and Davy Graham.
He also draws from classical, roots music and the folk tradition.
Support will come from Steve Robinson, a fine singer with a terrific fund of songs.
Tickets cost £12 on the door at Lothersdale Village Hall, or £10 in advance by visiting lothersdalelive.org.uk or e-mailing admin@lothersdalelive.org.uk.
Doors open at 7.30pm with music from 8.15pm.
