THE MUSIC of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will transport audiences back to 1960s America this month.

Jersey Boys, the smash-hit musical from Broadway and the West End, will be staged at the Alhambra Theatre from April 28.

The Four Seasons wrote their own music, created their own sound, sold more than 175 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame all before they turned 30.

Jersey Boys features all the group’s greatest hits, including Beggin’, Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don’t Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Let’s Hang On (To What We’ve Got), Bye Bye Baby, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back To You, Fallen Angel, Rag Doll and Who Loves You.

The show is described is a story full of heart, humour and – according to the Sunday Express – ‘sheer musical razzmatazz’.
