THE MUSIC of the Rolling Stones will be heard next month at Keighley’s Exchange Arts Centre.

Tribute band The Stones will perform at the Russell Street venue on May 2.

The original Rolling Stones were formed in London in 1962 and became known as the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world, selling 200 million albums worldwide.

The hits included Satisfaction, Ruby Tuesday, Brown Sugar, Start Me Up, Honky Tonk Woman and and Jumpin' Jack Flash.

The Stones claim to be the UK’s number one tribute to the Rolling Stones, and the most authentic, bringing all the hits and timeless tracks to the big stage.

A spokesman said: “With all the energy and charisma of The Rolling Stones themselves, The Stones pay an accurate and faithful tribute to the sound and look of an authentic Rolling Stones show.

“The Stones have the closest Mick Jagger look-alike on the scene, and pay great attention to the sound and feel of the music, all performed with the same accuracy, passion, energy and verve of the originals.”

The Stones boast authentic vintage instruments, costume and mannerisms, and the members are all experienced musicians in their own right.

They have all played many festivals, theatre shows, live music venues and private functions.

Since forming in 2007, The Stones expanded their show into a full-scale Rolling Stones concert, headlining festivals in front of 30,000 people and regularly touring Europe.
