THERE’S chaos at the seaside during the latest stage production from Keighley youth theatre KYDZ.
The youngsters are heading to the Haniki Beach holiday camp for a well-earned break at the end of next week.
But in the comedy play Anarchy Beach both hapless holidaymakers and sneaky staff find a lot more than just fun in the sun.
Haniki Beach is under new ownership after a notorious gangster won the rundown holiday camp in a poker game.
His scheming teenage daughter takes over the camp and sets out to sabotage everything so she can make millions of pounds selling the land for housing.
She finds willing allies in both a group of mischievous little girls who live nearby and a trio of bad lads on holiday with their church youth club.
But there are several visitors with secrets, including a girl hiding out after witnessing the gangster’s latest bank robbery and the women seeking her.
The show features noughties songs including Keep On Movin', Bring It All Back and Get The Party Started.
KYDZ will present Anarchy Beach at Oakworth Methodist Church on Friday and Saturday, July 16 and 17, at 7.15pm.
Tickets cost £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for children and are available by visiting kydztheatre.co.uk or on the door.
