A BAND BILLED as the biggest in the Far East will perform in Bradford next week.

Factory Street Studios will host a new unique show by Cambodian Space Project following their appearances at Glastonbury and Womad.

The “once in a lifetime” chance to see the band comes on July 17 at 8pm.

Nick Cave, lead singer of Badseeds, said: “They're a great band, the singer is amazing, really beautiful, the guitars really jump out at you, very affecting, great stuff.”

Cambodian Space Project are based in the country’s capital, Phnom Penh, which is at the forefront of Cambodia’s astonishing culture re-invention.

Srey Channthy, born into war and poverty as the daughter of an army tank driver, fronts this psychedelic, cross-cultural outfit.

Factory Street Studio manager Alex Eden said: “I love to have music from all over and see music from all over the world.”

Cambodian Space Project are at Factory Street Studios for 10 days writing and recording their next release.
