LOVE TO boogie with T.Rexstasy as the tribute band performs at Warehouse 23 in Wakefield on Saturday, January 23.
The group plays the music of both Marc Bolan and his band T.Rex.
Marc was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic stars of the original glam rock era, performing his special ingredient of Rock-a-Boogie songs throughout the 1970s.
Following hits like Telegram Sam and Jeepster, in 1976 he achieved yet another Top 20 record with his signature tune I Love To Boogie.
The tribute band T.Rextasy have now been performing around the world for more than 20 years.
The band claims to be the only official live tribute act dedicated to Marc Bolan and T.Rex, and the only band approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate, original ex-members of T.Rex, and Bolan’s catalogue management.
A spokesman said: “The band has been described by many as beyond the boundaries of tribute.
“Truly a rock’n’roll concert for all ages - if you would like to know exactly what a Marc Bolan concert was like in the 1970s, this show is for you!”
