POSTMAN Pat and his black and white cat will be the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway during the half term holidays.

Pat and Jess will appear at Keighley, Ingrow West and Oxenhope stations during their three days on the line between Tuesday and Thursday.

Children can meet the popular TV and book characters at intervals during the day, and have their pictures taken with them.

Activities at Ingrow West will include face painting, crafts and special train rides, while themed packed lunches will be available from the buffet car on Oxenhope station.

KWVR marketing officer Sarah Howsen said the railway was always try striving to improve the experience for its family visitors.

She said: “We hope that Postman Pat’s visit will provide a great value day out, and encourage families to return for our other events throughout the year.”
