THE SULTANS Of Swing will provide a ‘FABulous’ night of live music on Saturday February 13.

The Friends At Beechcliffe (FAB), a local charity that supports Beechcliffe Special School in Keighley, is staging the event at the town’s Rugby Union Football Club in Utley.

The Sultans of Swing are a 20-piece big band performing hits from Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington.

They will be followed by the Soul Fingers, a 10-piece band will perform a range of swing, soul, jazz and blues hits.

FAB will also host a auction and raffle during the evening, to raise funds towards a new sensory room.

Beechcliffe Special School has 110 students aged 11 to 19 with special special needs including medical, physical, behavioural and learning difficulties.

The multi-sensory light and sound room costing £25,000 will provide an interactive learning facility in school, benefiting students for many years to come.

Several businesses and organisations have donated prizes including Keelham Farm Shop, Bingley Brewery, La Rue Restaurant in Saltaire and Keighley Cougars.

Tickets are on sale from the school and cost £5 each. Doors open at 7.30pm, pie & peas will be available.
