GIGGLESWICK School theatre studies students will this month perform Alistair McDowall’s sinister and surreal thriller Pomona.
The play centres on Ollie, who is searching for her missing sister in Manchester but finds all roads lead to Pomona – an abandoned concrete island at the heart of the city.
This is where journeys end and nightmares are born.
Gareth Warburton, head of performance arts, said: “It’s great be staging such a contemporary piece of theatre. I would urge everyone to come and see a truly cutting-edge production.”
The contemporary theatre piece will be presented on Thursday and Friday May 19 and 20.
