MEN AND Girls Dance is a provocative, playful dance piece due to be performed at the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield on June 3 and 4.
The show will be performed by five professional male dancers nine girls is between eight and 11 recruited from round Huddersfield.
The dance piece, from Fevered Sleep, is described as both delightful and fun, and politically-charged, challenging and thought-provoking.
Devised and choreographed by Fevered Sleep’s artistic directors David Harradine and Sam Butler, the piece is intended to be a joyful celebration of normal, healthy connections between men and girls that can sometimes be misconstrued.
