Blues singer Julian Socha
BLUES and Roots nights at a Riddlesden pub will continue every two months.
The events at the Willow Tree, on Ilkley Road, are being organised by Ben Blue Waters, who runs similar nights successfully at the Black Bull in Haworth.
Ben, an acoustic blues singer, kicked off the Willow Tree nights last Saturday with well-known bottleneck blues master Shoe Sam, guitar virtuoso Julian Socha and JJ Cale-influenced blues man Rod Birchall.
Gigs will continue bi-monthly, on the second Saturday of the month, with three featured acts following a short opening set from Ben himself.
