Good times in the theatre
THE LAWRENCE Batley Theatre in Huddersfield is to present its first professional pantomime since opening its doors in 2004.
Cinderella promises sparkling scenery, live well-known music and audience interaction, in a production by renowned theatre director Joyce Branagh.
The new Lawrence Batley season also includes exuberant and highly emotive dance-theatre production Coal, from award -winning choreographer and artistic director Gary Clarke.
There will also be grand illusionists High Jinx Magic And Illusion, Longwood Operatic Society performing Irving Berlin’s musical Annie Get Your Gun, and sultry vocals and virtuoso guitar from songwriter/performer Kit Holmes.
