THE INVISIBLE are playing the Soup Kitchen in Manchester on September 26.

The band’s new album Patience is said to display their sense of joy and gratitude for being alive.

The musicians’ experiences since the release of their last album, Rispah, mean the group “have gained a deeper understanding of the value of life and a mission to communicate this to the listener".

According to The Invisible’s publicity, listeners can expect a kind of effortless transcendence in music, hinting towards London soul combined with the experimentation of the LA beat scene and raw funk.

The musicians have previously played with Adele, St Vincent, Grace Jones, Britten Sinfonia, Hot Chip, Yoko Ono and Beck.
