KEIGHLEY folk singers Alan Rose and Lynda Hardcastle are among headliners in the autumn season at Skipton Folk Unplugged.
The couple, for many years regulars at Keighley’s Baccapipes Folk Club, will perform on November 7, at the club venue, the Narrow Boat Inn in Victoria Street.
Lynda was for many years part of nationally-renowned female harmony trio Grace Notes.
The weekly Monday gatherings, which begin at 8.30pm, kick-off on September 5 with a return visit by Stuart Douglas.
Debra Cowan, described as a great singer, will present songs with affection and feeling, will perform on September 26.
Karin Grandal Park and Rosie Clegg will headline on October 17 with strong vocals and harmonies, original songs and thought-provoking lyrics.
Anthony John Clarke, described as a fine singer-songwriter, promises super songs and chat on October 31.
Ben and Robyn, who are “always a treat”, perform on November 28. All other Mondays will be singers nights where singers, musicians and poets are welcome to perform.
