THE FEELGOOD factor is promised in Halifax on October 7 as the Sensational Sixties Experience returns.

The show features seven legendary names of the 1960s playing all their biggest hits at the Victoria Theatre.

The line-up consists of Herman’s Hermits, Chris Farlowe, Swinging Blue Jeans, The Fortunes, The Ivy League and The New Amen Corner, held together by host Alan Mosca from Freddie And The Dreamers.

A spokesman said: “Audiences are guaranteed a night crammed full of nostalgia and all the biggest Sixties hits from bands and artists that dominated the decade.

“Between these seven acts, there are 39 Top 20 singles, 11 top charting albums and countless songs that will have audiences reminiscing as they sing and dance along.”

Hits played on the night will include I’m Into Something Good, I’m Henry The 8th, Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, Handbags And Gladrags, Hippy Hippy Shake, You’re No Good, Storm In A Tea Cup, Tossing And Turning, and Bend Me Shape Me.
