“AN EXPERIENCE every 10 minutes” is promised as Keighley’s international film festival returns for the fourth year.

The River Aire Ten Minute Amateur film festival, which has this year moved from spring to autumn, features dozens of short movies from across the globe.

They range from Keighley Film Club member Jim Walker’s movie about the Tour de France coming through Keighley, entitled T’Races, to a romantic comedy set in Poland entitled Fortune Flies.

Keighley College tutor Marcus Gregg and his team of volunteers have again prepared shortlists in several categories, including music, thriller, sci-fi, documentary, animation, drama and comedy.

All the movies will be screened at the college during the day on October 8 from 10am, when over-15s can simply drop in to watch as many as they want in return for £2.50.

The winners in each category will be screened at the Picture House in North Street that evening from 7pm. Tickets cost £3 from ratmaff.weebly.com or on the door.

Proceeds will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
