THE ALAUDA Quartet were forced to cancel their appearance this month at Bradford Cathedral due to a problem with the heating.

Their concert, part of the annual Bradford chamber concert season, has been rearranged for May 5.

The next concert of the season will be on November 11, when cello player Raphael Wallfisch and pianist John York will perform together.

Recorder player Piers Adams and harpsichord player David Wright, known as the Wild Men of the Baroque, will perform on December 2.

Coming up are the Fidelio Trio (January 27), violinist Emily Sun and pianist Jennifer Hughes (March 10), and the European Union Chamber Orchestra with Bradford Cathedral Choir (April 7).
