BOBBIE Dazzler is back to present burlesque in Keighley as an alternative to bonfire night.

Keighley-based burlesque dancer Bobbie chose November 5 for her next programme featuring professional performers hand-picked from across the North.

She said: “We will have all the bright lights and colours, but in a warm dry setting, where you don't have to wear wellies and the autumn cheer is every bit as good!

“As well as performing myself, I have some of the best performers that British and Irish burlesque has to offer.

“I can honestly say that the line-up for this show is the best I've ever put together, I'm really proud of it!”

The show is entitled Blaze Of Glory and will be held at the usual venue, Pilky’s on Heber Street, off South Street, starting at 8pm, with doors opening at 7pm.

Topping the bill is Violet Blaze, a model, entrepreneur and former CBeebies presenter.

Bobbie said: “Violet is one of the UK’s best-known and burlesque performers. Known as the Cadbury's Queen, she has been recognised by Cadbury's who send her huge gift baskets from time to time!”

The line-up also includes female performer Raven Noir and Shir Madness, and two men who have already proved Keighley favourites, Sir Midnight Blues and Rock Hart.

Bobbie, real name Sian Chatfield, established her Keighley burlesque nights in 2014.

Tickets for Blaze Of Glory cost £12.50 by emailing bobbie dazzler@yahoo.co.uk or from Sequins fancy dress in High Street, Keighley, and E-shoes in Skipton.
